Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) announced today that it will hold its annual
investor meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Le Parker Meridien
in New York. The event is currently scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to noon,
and will be simulcast in a listen-only mode on the “Investors” page of
the company’s website approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the
meeting.
Following the meeting, management will be available to investors during
a luncheon hosted by the company at the meeting venue. A complete
schedule of presentations will be posted on the company’s website at www.unum.com
in the “Investors” section on or before November 15, 2011. A replay of
the webcast and accompanying slides will be available on the website for
one year after the event.
