The Board of Directors of Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) has set May 22, 2009,
as the date for the company's annual meeting of stockholders. The
meeting will be held at its office at 2211 Congress Street, Portland,
Maine, at 10 a.m. Eastern.
The directors also have set March 25, 2009, as the record date for
determination of stockholders entitled to vote at the annual meeting.
